KAYAK’s story in Lithuania began back in 2010, when KAYAK recognized the potential of a metasearch engine company, SWOODOO AG. KAYAK acquired the company, along with its talented team of 40 engineers, who then worked for several years as technology partners with KAYAK, until becoming employed by KAYAK Lithuania. The team has been operating out of the KAYAK Technology Center in Kaunas since 2018, working on both user-facing features and back-end services, as well as data science. The team comprises a number of different roles, and fosters an environment that thrives on diversity.
