Our initial goal behind the move to Kaunas was to focus only on product development, due to the high availability of quality software engineers and data scientists in Lithuania. However, we also decided to recruit people for other HQ positions in Lithuania. In early 2020, we took the big step of hiring our marketing manager in Kaunas, which was a great success. She led a front-to-back rebranding of our company, which resulted in impressive growth. After this, we also moved our accounting and human resources to Lithuania. Because of our company’s ambitious European expansion, we opened a second office in Vilnius. We chose Vilnius because it is arguably the fastest growing financial technology centre in Europe, and in addition, the investment climate in Lithuania is particularly favourable.
