Revel Systems, a leading provider of a cloud-based point of sale (POS) and complete business management platform, today shared details of the company’s planned expansion of its Lithuania location.
Due to strong customer demand and global company growth, Revel will increase its Lithuania-based workforce by adding 30 product and engineering, IT support staff by the end of 2020. The Lithuania location currently employs 180 staff and the planned hires will reflect a 75% growth in staffing since the Lithuania location opened. To accommodate the growth in staff, Revel is adding new bigger office space.
Originally serving as a European sales office in 2015, Revel’s operation in Lithuania expanded in 2017 to house the company’s new European operational centre of excellence with staff in fulfillment, support, engineering, billing, and quality assurance departments. The large, modernized, eco-friendly building is located in one of Lithuania’s tech hub neighborhoods in its capital city, Vilnius.

The engineering and development work carried out at the Lithuania location provides a critical component of Revel Systems’ point of sale solutions worldwide. New roles in Lithuania will be filled by skilled and experienced senior professionals, including UX designers, Agile coaches, and cloud infrastructure engineers.
