CENSUS strengthens Northern European hub in Lithuania to expand cybersecurity engineering capabilities
CENSUS, an international cybersecurity engineering company, has established a new operational hub in Lithuania. The hub marks its first dedicated presence in Northern Europe and will serve as a gateway to the Baltic, Nordic, and wider European markets.
The Lithuanian operation is already up and running, delivering projects for established clients across the Baltic states, and its formal launch as a regional hub reflects the company’s deepening commitment to the region. The company has built its reputation over more than a decade by securing some of the world’s most complex and critical systems, including contributions to the Linux kernel and WhatsApp, and by presenting cutting-edge research at leading industry conferences such as Black Hat and DEF CON. With a 130-strong team distributed across five global hubs in the US, UK, Greece, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, CENSUS is working closely with Fortune 500 clients in sectors like defence, finance, healthcare, automotive, energy, and cloud technology.
The company evaluated several markets in Northern Europe and the UK before selecting Lithuania. Key considerations included access to highly skilled engineering talent, – a regulatory environment that actively supports innovation while remaining fully aligned with EU security and resilience frameworks, and the country’s growing commitment to defence investment – a sector that sits at the core of CENSUS’s work securing operationally critical environments.
The Lithuanian hub brings together a dedicated team of engineering and sales professionals, positioned to meet the growing regional demand for resilient cybersecurity solutions across the EU.
From its new Lithuanian base, the company delivers its full range of advanced cybersecurity engineering services, encompassing security architecture design and threat modelling, real-world adversarial testing and security posture assessments, applied research bridging theoretical and practical security, bespoke security component development, and high-end Tiger Team red teaming services.
CENSUS is also investing directly in Lithuania’s national resilience.
