Devbridge, a US programming services company whose primary customers are located in Western Europe and North America, has retained its rapid growth, increased its teams in Lithuania, and for the eighth year in succession was among the 5,000 fastest-growing US companies.
According to Viktoras Gurgždys, vice-president of Devbridge and head of its Lithuanian division, growing numbers of global companies are placing their trust in the competence and quality of the work of Lithuanian developers. As a result, each year, they receive new and increasingly large orders that earn them recognition in the international arena.
“This year was very successful for Devbridge – we exceeded our financial targets. The need for digitalised solutions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic naturally boosted the volumes of our work. During the lockdown, we increased the number of jobs as well as our pace of trying to help businesses. The need for services rose for our existing customers, and we also attracted new ones. For many years, we have been working with the largest global manufacturing, finance and service companies in Western Europe and North America, and this year these sectors invested even more in the development of digital products”, Mr Gurgždys said.
Founded by Lithuanians, the IT company has been rated one of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the US in the Inc. 5000 list for the eighth time in succession. This year, Devbridge took the 2,922nd place. Inc. 5000 is an annually compiled list of the fastest-growing and most competitive private companies in the US. The rating is based on the calculation of the percentage growth of companies’ turnover, comparing the results of the last four years.
“This recognition proves that the excellent performance of our employees and growing customer needs inured us being competitive globally. A focus on impeccable product quality as well as the development and fostering of a strong expert base has helped the company grow from a team of just a few people to one of the global leaders in software development”, he adds.
Devbridge was founded in 2008 by five friends from Lithuania with their first office located in a tiny basement in Bensenville (Illinois).
