What started as a strategic expansion has since evolved into Flo’s most significant operational hub outside London.

Flo’s most exciting breakthroughs begin and accelerate in Vilnius

Flo’s Vilnius office has grown into the company’s largest hub by headcount and its primary engineering center. What started with just over 50 employees in 2021 has expanded to nearly 230 professionals – representing over 55% of the company’s global engineering force – with ambitious plans to grow the team by half in the coming years.

The Lithuanian team includes more than 120 engineers spanning Backend, iOS, Android, QA, Security and Fullstack roles, as well as product managers, designers, and analysts. It also includes senior leadership from principal engineers to VPs and Directors, making Vilnius the go-to location for company-wide strategic planning sessions.

The Vilnius office has delivered key product launches, including Anonymous Mode, which was recognized among TIME’s Best Inventions of 2023, and contributed significantly to Flo for Partners. The team has also advanced the company’s privacy and security practices, supporting Flo’s ISO 27001 & ISO 27701 certification achieved in 2022-2023.
