LITIT Celebrates Its First Year: A Look Back at a Successful Start

April 01, 2025

As LITIT celebrates its first year, it’s a moment to reflect on how far the company has come since its inception. Launched as a joint venture between NTT DATA, the Germany-based part of the NTT Group and Reiz Tech, a Lithuanian IT service provider, LITIT’s mission was clear from the start: to blend German precision, Japanese ethics, and Lithuanian talent to deliver high-quality IT solutions. A year later, this mission has not only taken root – it has become the foundation of the company’s growth.

LITIT’s primary goal from the outset was to connect Lithuania’s exceptional IT talent with the demanding, quality-driven markets of the DACH region. As CEO Kristina Kikalienė reflects, the company has achieved its ambitions and continues to build on its strong foundation.

“Building an organization from the ground up has been an exciting journey, and we have successfully established a solid foundation,” says Kristina. “We expanded our teams and won projects in diverse areas, including AI, Cloud, Software Development, AMS, SAP, and Architecture. Our commitment to excellence, efficiency, and making a real impact for our clients has driven our growth. By building a collaborative team and cultivating an ‘I care’ attitude, we ensure quality, innovation, and a strong process culture that empowers us to deliver meaningful results. We have also secured TISAX and ISO certifications, reinforcing our dedication to the highest standards of security and quality. I have a great feeling about what we are building, and I am truly proud of the team we have at LITIT – challengers, team players, and real professionals. Working with them is an amazing experience, where work feels more like a hobby than a job.

Building a Talented Teams and Delivering Results

Over the past year, LITIT has grown its team to 66 professionals, with recruitment ongoing. These team members have played a critical role in delivering 13 successful projects across industries such as automotive, manufacturing, banking, and insurance.

The talent we’ve brought on board has been vital to our success,” says Kristina. “Their hard work and dedication have enabled us to meet the high demands of our clients while maintaining the quality that defines us.

But growth has not come without its challenges. LITIT’s Chief Sales Officer and Member of Management Board, Andreas Faber, recalls the early hurdles the company faced.

“Our customers are from the DACH region, and the changing market landscape meant we faced a bumpy start,” says Andreas. “But we adapted quickly, worked creatively, and grew significantly in a competitive environment. Everyone at LITIT can be proud of that.”

Overcoming Challenges and Embracing Innovation

Despite the initial obstacles, LITIT found opportunities in adversity. Through innovation and resilience, the company not only survived its first year but thrived.

Andreas notes, “We started with a project that was meant to be a cornerstone of our business. But the client unexpectedly decided to transition to India just after our launch. This shift forced us to refocus on recruiting top talent, and today, we’re working on projects like Cloud Migrations and GenAI. The Lithuanian talent pool is incredibly skilled, and we’re proud to offer them opportunities to grow with us.”

As LITIT continues to grow, so does its culture. The company’s approach to teamwork and innovation has evolved, ensuring that all employees are aligned with its core values.

“We continually refine our processes to ensure that our team, the company, and our clients benefit,” says Kristina. “We focus on creating an environment where people are not only productive but also enjoy working and growing together.”
Looking Ahead: Ambitious Plans for the Future

Looking to the year ahead, LITIT has ambitious growth plans. The company aims to expand its team to 150 professionals and broaden its reach into new industries.

We’ve established a strong presence in our current sectors, but we’re looking to expand into industries such as healthcare, fintech, logistics, and energy,” says Kristina. “This will allow us to bring our expertise to new areas, driving innovation and delivering tailored IT solutions for a wider range of clients.

As the company continues its journey, the focus remains on excellence, agility, and continuous improvement. Chairman of the Management Board Peter Broessler highlights the importance of staying focused on the company’s core strengths.

“LITIT has already achieved so much in just one year. Despite the challenges in the DACH market, we’ve managed to grow, deliver successfully, and recruit top talent,” says Peter. “Looking ahead, our priority is to continue building the right spirit for growth – finding the right talent, maintaining mutual trust, and staying focused on our mission.”

A Strong Foundation for the Future

Reflecting on LITIT’s first year, Member of Management Board Valdas Šimas emphasizes the company’s growth and independence.

“We’ve established LITIT as a strong, independent entity,” says Valdas. “What we’ve achieved in just one year is a testament to the vision and drive of Kristina and Andreas. now is on scaling what works – strengthening our influence in business development, expanding our service offerings, and continuously innovating. Maintaining a winning mindset – staying proactive, bold, and results-driven – will be key to unlocking even greater opportunities and cementing LITIT’s role as a leader in tech space.”

In just one year, LITIT laid the groundwork for even greater growth. From overcoming early challenges to building a strong, diverse team, the company’s first year proves that collaboration, resilience, and innovation are the keys to growth. The next year promises even more opportunities as LITIT continues to expand its reach and impact.
