Europe’s fastest growing HR Tech company opens service centre in Vilnius

February 14, 2018

Benify, one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies within personnel management technologies (HR Tech), is establishing a service centre in Vilnius. The Swedish company intends to rapidly grow and will employ content and transaction management, as well as customer service professionals in the Lithuanian capital over the coming years.

“We have been looking at nearshoring alternatives for some time now to support our global growth. After a thorough search, with several possible alternatives in the final phase, we selected Lithuania and Vilnius as the next destination on our trajectory to becoming the world’s leading HR Tech provider. A world-class infrastructure and a highly educated multilingual workforce was the competitive edge that made us choose Vilnius,” says Benify’s Chief Operations Officer Joel Heister.

The company has developed a modern platform solution through which employers can engage, manage and reward their talent for better performance, happier workplaces and a more attractive employer brand. Today, millions of employees across more than 30 markets have access to the Benify portal in over 20 languages.

Benify works closely with the world’s largest suppliers within leisure, entertainment, travel and other services, providing clients with the opportunity to build a unique workplace offer for existing and future employees.

“As an investment location, Lithuania has been attractive for Swedish companies for a number of years. With the support of large Swedish enterprises, Lithuania has developed not only a great infrastrucure, but also great talent pool. On top of their professional skills, our talents now speak Swedish, Norwegian and Danish, and understand the Nordic working culture. This can certainly help Scandinavian startups to scale in global markets. The rapidly growing Benify reveals a positive trend in luring investments to the Lithuanian innovations ecosystem,” says Minister of Economy Virginijus Sinkevičius.

“Last year, when reporting Lithuania’s achievements in the business community, the international media linked it to the FinTech revolution. But Lithuania has value in other technology fields too – HR Tech, game development and more,” explains Mantas Katinas, Director General of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency Invest Lithuania.

“The local startup ecosystem is developing rapidly, and we are looking forward to welcoming more Scandinavian tech startups to our business family. Lithuania has a perfect mix of talent, infrastrucure and culture, which will help Scandinavian companies to grow their global presence from Lithuania. So, Benify’s arrival in Vilnius will trigger the presence of Lithuania on the global startup scene.”

Founded in Stockholm in 2004, Benify today has offices in London, Singapore, Munich, San Francisco, Paris, Amsterdam, Helsinki and Copenhagen.
