Boutique Life Sciences advisory Avance opens office in Vilnius

Avance Life Sciences, a Swiss advisory firm focused on the Life Sciences industry, has recently opened an office in Vilnius. In Lithuania, Avance expects to build a team of highly specialized, interdisciplinary specialists providing financial advisory services and supporting the company’s valuation and licensing modeling platform. 

Headquartered in Switzerland, Avance provides services to Biotech and Pharma companies, universities, and investors in the Life Sciences space. The company counts such well-known names as Roche, AbbVie, and Bayer among its broad client base in the US, Germany, the UK, Switzerland, and elsewhere.  

Vilnius is Avance’s third office, after headquarters in Basel and an office in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The company’s Lithuania team will support financial advisory activities and the adoption of RIVAL, Avance’s recently launched global platform. RIVAL allows Biotech and Pharma companies to simplify the valuation of their pipeline and optimize their licensing deals. 

According to Cees de Wit, Director at Avance Life Sciences, the skill and ambition of Lithuanian talent were among the main factors behind the decision to set up an office in Vilnius: 

Avance is seeking ambitious professionals with a background in Finance, Life Sciences, and SaaS sales. 

“We have only recently established our company in Vilnius but are very happy with the talent we have been able to attract so far,” says Cees de Wit. “We see continued growth for our Lithuanian business as part of our overall company growth strategy.”
