Adform to create 100 new jobs in Kaunas

August 16, 2016

The Kaunas-based division of the IT company Adform is moving to new offices in the centre of the city and tripling its current staff – they plan to increase the number of employees to 150.

Adform started its operations in Kaunas in the middle of 2013 with a small team, and has been constantly expanding as the specialists improved. Currently, the division employs 50 specialists of Java, Scala, Net, JS, Hadoop, HP Vertica and other technologies.

As part of the expansion, a decision was made to move the Kaunas division into a new office, which they plan to do in the middle of November this year. Adform’s new office will be in a historical site of Kaunas – the former Communications History Museum, right next to Kaunas City Hall.

The new office will house 150 work stations as well as a spacious and functional leisure zone. Eventually, it is planned to set up a welcoming work and recreation zone in the inner courtyard. The courtyard of the Communications History Museum was well known to people and visitors to the city as a wonderful venue for concerts with an extraordinary atmosphere. So Adform will definitely be looking at the possibility of sharing this space in the future with organisers of concerts or other cultural events.

At the end of the last year, the company received an investment of USD 21.25 million from Danica, the Scandinavian pension fund. At that point it had already been a planning to increase its staff and open in new markets. At the beginning of the year, Adform announced its intentions to hire 200 new employees during this year.

Adform has been nominated several times for the best employer in Lithuania and is known as a company that is very employee centred with an exceptional work culture. Without limiting themselves to the IT community, Adform plans to become involved in events in the city and to help in smartening up the city surroundings by innovative projects.

In business since 2002, Adform, which develops digital advertising software, has offices in 18 countries employing more than 750 people. The majority of them – more than 450 – work in Lithuania, where Adform started its activities in 2006.
