Unify Square opens Network Operations Center in Vilnius

November 12, 2018

Unify Square, the leading provider of software and 24×7 cloud managed services for Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business, today announced they will open a new Network Operations Center in Vilnius, Lithuania.

In order to respond to the growing demand for managed services for both Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business, Unify Square is building out a second PowerSuite Network Operations Center with room for up to 80 employees to open alongside the existing Unify Square developer office in Vilnius, Lithuania.

“Growing our presence in Lithuania with the creation of our second NOC and escalating our Asia-Pacific operations will allow us to better service our expanding and wide-reaching customer base – we estimate we will double our footprint in the next year,” said John Case, CEO of Unify Square.

Although located in Europe, the new NOC will carry the same 24×7 charter servicing global customers as the original Unify Square NOC in the Asia-Pacific region, which is planned to double in size this year. In addition to providing even higher levels of business continuity services, the combined locations will allow the company to expand the vitally important managed services and developer employee ranks.

Headquartered in the United States, Unify Square already has additional subsidiary offices in Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia and India. Current Unify Square customers include many Fortune Global 500 companies, such as Unilever, Nestle, Microsoft and Shell. According to Global Industry Analysts Inc., the global unified communications and collaboration market, to which the software developed by Unify Square is attributed, will grow to approximately almost USD $63 billion by 2020.

PowerSuite™, Unify Square’s core software offering, is an Azure-based performance and operations solutions suite that delivers actionable insights into Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business performance and service health. Unify Square launched this week the first of many upcoming expansions to its repertoire of services for Microsoft Teams with three important solutions: Executive Dashboard, Usage & Adoption Dashboard, and Help Desk.

“This serves testimony to the quality of the local talent pool, which is full of specialists that have a balanced mixture of technical and soft skills, required to excel in an international environment.”

“The expansion of Unify Square is important for Lithuania not just because Vilnius one of only two locations worldwide entrusted with these critically important functions, but also because the expansion of the function scope will create jobs for both experienced developers and young IT professionals. Such a balance is beneficial for the labour market as the supply of experienced specialists is limited, and young specialists will have a great opportunity to grow and receive experience in an international environment which is valued highly by many local IT companies,” Virginijus Sinkevičius, the Lithuanian Minister of Economy explains.
