March 03, 2025

PAYSTRAX, a payment processing solutions provider, has announced further expansion of its Lithuanian operations. The company, which has successfully grown its presence in both Vilnius and Klaipėda, plans to strengthen its team across multiple departments in 2025, including Commercial, IT, and Finance.

The fintech company, which established its headquarters in the capital Vilnius in 2018 and opened a second office in Klaipėda in 2022, has demonstrated remarkable growth in Lithuania. The company has offices in United Kingdom and Iceland, but the majority of PAYSTRAX’s team is based in Lithuania, with the company currently employing over 80 professionals across two cities.

We are incredibly proud of our teams in Vilnius and Klaipėda. Their dedication, expertise, and high performance have been key to our success and will drive our continued growth in the European market. The teams' hard work and commitment set a high standard of excellence, and we deeply appreciate their contributions.
Johannes Ingi Kolbeinsson, CEO and co-founder of PAYSTRAX

According to the company, Lithuania has the level of education, expertise and professionalism of specialists here align perfectly with their business goals and supports the expansion in both Vilnius and Klaipeda. These offices drive a significant portion of the company’s European operations, including finance, IT, product development, and customer support.

PAYSTRAX has become a testament to Lithuania's ability to support fintech operations beyond the capital city. Their growth story showcases how Lithuania's regional tech hubs can provide the talent and infrastructure needed for international fintech operations, contributing to the geographical diversification of our thriving fintech ecosystem.
