Engineering consultancy CSD Engineers has announced plans to double the size of its team in Vilnius. Over the next few years, the company will hire additional civil engineering and design specialists with French or German language skills, experience in BIM – and a passion for big projects.
CSD Engineers has been operating successfully in Vilnius for more than a decade. Its team of highly specialized engineers offers a wide range of engineering services including BIM (Building Information Modeling), construction engineering and building technology. The firm’s Vilnius office currently employs more than 40 visionary civil engineers and other specialists with excellent technical skills, many of whom are experienced engineering project managers, fluent in English, German or French.
The office serves as an integrated design services center, servicing customers in both local and international markets. Among its most high-profile projects is the Grand Paris Express metro project in France. CSD Engineers’ office in Vilnius is also an active member of Lithuania’s engineering community, regularly delivering lectures at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, consulting with education institutions over proposed changes, and giving talks in schools about the engineering profession. The company is currently taking an active role in organizing the Engineering 4.0 conference, which aims to promote engineering as a career, encourage progressive training for young engineers, and boost the export of engineering services.
