In 2015 Cognizant acquired Storebrand Shared Services Centre in Vilnius to support its clients in the Nordic market as well as other European countries. Vilnius hub is now a CoE for end-to-end back-office processes within insurance & banking industries, servicing more than 5 banking and insurance companies. The Center also provides information management and business solutions, supporting complex business challenges like Solvency II implementation.
The centre has its own in-house Scandinavian language academy with a dedicated team of professional trainers, where in 6 months employees with no such prior language knowledge are trained and enabled to deliver services to customers in Norwegian, Danish or Swedish.
