Visma Tech unveils new office, strengthening its Lithuania presence

Visma Tech, a leading IT firm and a key division of the Norwegian Visma Group and one of the largest IT companies in Lithuania, proudly announces its move to a new office in Vilnius, accompanied by ongoing team expansion in Lithuania, aiming to attract top-tier talent within the country.

Visma Tech chose the Artery building at the heart of Vilnius’ central business district to foster innovation and collaboration. The new office features state-of-the-art technological resources and versatile workspaces that match the company’s values of innovation and collaboration. With the addition of this office, Visma Tech aims to bolster its workforce, focusing on attracting and retaining top-tier talent, particularly in specialized roles such as software development, DevOps, and quality assurance.

According to Agnius Paradnikas, the company’s Managing Director, the decision to continuously strengthen its presence in Lithuania – the company has offices both in Vilnius and Kaunas – was made for several reasons:

“It is extremely gratifying to see that our efforts at making Lithuania attractive to high-value-added businesses from abroad are paying off. The fact that one of the continent’s largest technology groups has not only chosen Lithuania for expansion but is also continuing to recruit talent here years later is proof enough that we are on the right track,” Karolis Žemaitis, Vice-Minister of the Economy and Innovation, said at the ribbon cutting event held to celebrate the move.

Echoing K. Žemaitis’ remarks, Elijus Čivilis, General Manager at Invest Lithuania, emphasizes the importance of talent for establishing Lithuania as a hub for advanced technology:

Besides standard collaboration with higher education institutions, Visma Tech is in alignment initiatives like with Women Go Tech where they continue to support and mentor the next generation of IT professionals, underscoring their commitment to diversity and education in the tech industry. The most compelling example of that is the remarkable initiative „Angis“ – a free platform to teach Python programming to children in Lithuania launched in 2021.
