CITCO is expanding: the company will search for finance and law specialists in Vilnius

October 25, 2016

The CITCO Group of Companies, which provides accounting and corporate secretarial services to hedge funds, private equity and real estate funds, property holding and financing companies, banks and international corporations, is expanding its service centre in Vilnius. In one of the first service centres established in Lithuania, CITCO Vilnius plans to employ a substantial number of additional specialists in the field of finance, accounting and law within a year.

“Over almost 10 years of presence in Lithuania, CITCO Vilnius has managed to attract particularly talented lawyers, financial and accounting specialists who interact directly with our international global client base – amongst others: fund managers, managers of international corporations and private investors. Currently, with a team of more than 300 highly qualified specialists, we see a prospect for more growth. This is particularly the case in Lithuania where the business environment and infrastructure is perfectly suited to allow us to focus on our clients’ needs”, Tim Van Dijk, the Chairman of the Board of CITCO Vilnius says.

CITCO Vilnius is one of CITCO’s strategic centres. As part of the expansion of the service centre in Vilnius, CITCO will continue to expand the accounting, treasury functions and legal services.

“The Legal Process Outsourcing market is expected to show five-fold growth by 2022 and exceed EUR 12 billion. Therefore, employees with such competences will be crucially important to the overall future growth of this sector in Lithuania. Among the country’s service centres, CITCO stands out as one of the most progressive providers of such services; thus, the expansion of these specific services is a good sign for the industry as a whole”, Business Services Team Lead of foreign investment development agency Invest Lithuania Laisvis Makulis says.

The CITCO Group of companies employs more than 6,000 employees in 45 countries. Throughout the world, the Group’s companies provide a wide range of services in the areas of fund administration, corporate secretarial banking, financial products and various other associated services. The service centre in Lithuania already provides services in English, French, German and Spanish languages and is rapidly expanding into new areas.
