Rocket Software Expands in Lithuania, Adding Customer-Focused Roles to Fuel Global Growth

March 24, 2025

Rocket Software, a global technology leader in modernization software, today announced plans to deepen its investment in Lithuania by creating dozens of customer-facing roles at its Vilnius office over the next two years. This expansion will provide new opportunities in customer support, technical sales, marketing, and business development, further strengthening the company’s global footprint.

Since establishing its technology center in Vilnius in 2020, Rocket Software has experienced remarkable growth in the region, expanding its local team to over 200 employees. The Lithuanian office has become essential to the company’s innovation and product development initiatives.

Rocket Software Lithuania is evolving into a dynamic, customer-focused center, underscoring a new phase of growth. Our team plays a crucial role across the entire product life cycle, from research and development to quality assurance and user experience, all while driving advancements in AI and modernization technologies. By continuing to invest in Lithuania, we can further our mission of helping customers modernize without disruption.
Elinga Kavaliauskienė, vice president of NextGen Strategy and country manager at Rocket Software Lithuania

Lithuania’s strong talent pool in software development and its strategic location in Europe were key factors in the company’s decision to expand its investment in the country. Rocket Software has actively engaged with the local academic community, collaborating with Kaunas University of Technology and Vilnius University on initiatives, such as AI-themed hackathons, NextGen Academy internships, and specialized courses in mainframe technologies.

What started as a software development center is evolving into a multifaceted operation encompassing the full spectrum of customer engagement. This transformation not only creates diverse career opportunities for Lithuanian professionals but also strengthens our reputation as a location where global tech companies can build comprehensive, end-to-end operations rather than just development centers.
