Senior PR Generalist

At Invest Lithuania, you will be co-creating the country’s future. We are an ambitious team making Lithuania a draw for global business and international talent. Currently, we are looking for a Senior Public Relations Generalist at the Marketing and Communication Department (Work in Lithuania team) to help Lithuania make headlines across the globe.

As a PR Generalist, you will be in charge of stories – stories that attract specialists living abroad to pursue their careers in Lithuania. These stories might come in many shapes and forms, but always build bridges between the action and the audience. We need someone who can find the right words and make meaningful connections so that Lithuania can successfully compete in the global talent arena.

What will you be doing?

• Owning Work in Lithuania’s public relations KPIs on both the strategic and tactical levels.
• Handling international and local PR projects – from initial ideas to impact analysis.
• Managing suppliers and search for partners in both the public and the private sector.
• Managing media relations with outlets as global as WIRED and as hyper-local as Catalan News.
• Creating content in a variety of genres (interviews, news releases, in-depth articles), telling stories about Lithuania as a career destination to diverse audiences abroad.
• Initiating and implementing PR campaigns; search for new, effective ways to tell Lithuania’s story.
• Communicating with Lithuanian audiences (from company CEOs to TV viewers) to promote our country’s attractiveness for international careers.

What do we expect from you?

• At least 3 years of experience in Public Relations and/or Journalism; experience in Creative Writing is a huge plus.
• Great story-telling abilities in both English and Lithuanian.
• An ability to navigate digital channels, PR analytics software and media platforms with ease.
• A drive to follow the global news cycle and find ways to become a part of it.
• A network of contacts in the Lithuanian media is a bonus.
• Ownership, quick thinking, ability to work under time constraints are all desirable qualities in this role.
