Team Lead | Infrastructure Solutions Team

Fixed-term contract for two years, with the possibility of a permanent position in the future. 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our Infrastructure Solutions Team who would like to contribute to facilitation of the investment projects which are implemented by local and foreign companies.

As the Infrastructure Solutions Team Lead at Invest Lithuania, you will be an integral part of the Project Management Department, working closely with other teams across the agency as well as with external partners, stakeholders, and investors. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing strategies for the development of industrial territories, identifying suitable sites for greenfield investment projects, facilitating their implementation processes, and helping to tackle all kind of challenges in the field of infrastructure, construction, territorial planning, land, energy, environment.

To excel in this position, you will need a unique blend of strategic vision, industry knowledge, and the ability to build strong partnerships with local and national institutions. Your leadership will play a crucial role in advancing investment environment and ensuring Lithuania continues to grow as a leading place for large-scale investment projects in Europe.

What will you be doing?

• Coordinating the development of industrial territories and strategic sites in cooperation with free economic zones, industrial parks, and municipalities.
• Implementing new ideas for improving the investment environment in the field of infrastructure, construction, territorial planning, land, energy, environment.
• Participating in the provision of high-quality consultations in the process of attracting new investors.
• Facilitating the processes of solving challenges arising for large-scale investment projects, preparing and implementing necessary actions.
• Representing Invest Lithuania in central government and municipal institutions and in relations with other agencies, companies or organizations.
• Driving team growth by conducting performance and compensation reviews, offering valuable feedback and coaching to enhance individual performance, and overseeing the onboarding of new employees, including defining trial periods and establishing performance goals and objectives.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor’s degree in law, economics, public administration, management and business administration, finance or social sciences.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in team management or significant project ownership.
• Expert-level knowledge in one or more of the following areas: infrastructure, construction, territorial planning, land management, energy, or environmental protection.
• A solid understanding of the legal framework related to infrastructure and land management.
• Proven experience in project management and/or management consulting.
• Strong strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Creativity and the drive to improve, learn, and achieve big results– in other words, a desire to challenge and change the status quo.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, engage and inspire team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian and English (B2).
