Senior Investment Advisor | Defence

The Defence team works at the intersection of national security, industrial development, and foreign direct investment, partnering with international defence companies, Lithuanian institutions, and local industry players.

What will you be doing?

• Provide expert support in attracting international defence and dual-use companies to Lithuania.  
• Develop and communicate Lithuania’s value proposition for the defence sector, aligned with national defence priorities and capability development goals.
• Actively work with international defence companies, presenting investment opportunities and advising them on expansion or establishment in Lithuania.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the Lithuanian defence ecosystem, including defence industry capabilities, priority technological areas, and ongoing initiatives.
• Navigate and explain fundamentals of defence procurement processes in Lithuania, cooperating closely with public-sector stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders operating in the Lithuanian defence sector, including government institutions, the armed forces, industry associations, and private companies.
• Coordinate with ministries, agencies, and partners to provide tailored solutions for potential investors.
• Plan and implement targeted sales and marketing activities that position Lithuania as a reliable and competitive defence investment destination.
• Represent Invest Lithuania at international and local events, proactively identifying foreign investment opportunities.
• Monitor global and regional trends in the defence sector and assess their relevance to Lithuania.

What do we expect from you?

• At least 3 years of experience in investment attraction, business development, consulting, sales, or a related role, preferably in an international or public–private environment.
• A solid understanding of Lithuania’s defence ecosystem, including key institutions, industry players, and market dynamics.
• Knowledge of Lithuania’s priority areas of defence capability and industry development.
• A practical understanding of how defence procurements work, including stakeholders roles and basic regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a complex, sensitive sector.  
• Strong analytical skills and high IT literacy.  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1) and Lithuanian.  
• Proactiveness, strategic mindset, and the ability to represent Lithuania credibly in high-level discussions.

• Gross salary from 2450 – 3450 Eur/month, depending on candidate’s qualifications and experience.
