Relesys, a Danish SaaS company specializing in mobile-first platforms for non-desk workers, has made Lithuania a key development hub for its global software solutions. The team in Vilnius is focused on software development, quality assurance, and product support, with plans to grow to approximately 20 full-time employees by the end of this year.
After considering multiple European locations with competitive tech workforces and emerging innovation ecosystems, Relesys selected Lithuania for its strategic development hub.
Relesys’ Lithuanian team works hand-in-hand with the core platform architecture team in Odense, Denmark. While Vilnius focuses on feature development, QA, and product support, the Odense team ensures platform stability, scalability, and long-term architectural integrity. This close collaboration enables faster innovation and consistent platform excellence. Together, they develop new features, enhance performance, and ensure quality user experiences for the Relesys platform, which currently serves over 400,000 users across 97 countries.
Founded in Copenhagen in 2014, Relesys set out to bridge the digital divide for non-desk workers in the retail, logistics, and hospitality sectors. After going public in 2021, the company was acquired by Copilot Capital in 2024, returning to private ownership with a renewed focus on international expansion and product innovation.
Looking ahead, Relesys plans to expand its product suite with AI-driven features, deeper analytics, and enhanced employee training tools. In Lithuania, the company will be looking to recruit skilled software engineers and QA specialists with experience in modern development frameworks, cloud architecture, and agile methodologies to support this growth.
Relesys also has plans to collaborate with local universities and tech communities to support internship opportunities, tech meetups, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, further embedding itself in Lithuania’s growing innovation ecosystem.
